I was wracking my brain about what my first
blog post should be about - should it be
a review, a stream of consciousness or even just a picture of a pineapple. So I decided to go with the obvious:
Nah. I’m just kidding. After thinking and
thinking it hit me…you don’t know who I am, so rather than leaving you with
this imaginary figure with an imaginary voice I have decided to help you as
much as I can. When you read this obviously I can’t help with the voice aspect
(or the figure part for that matter), however my first video will be linked and
there you’ll be able to see what I look and sound like. So now I will give you
all a bit more information about who this mysterious Sigma Elf is…(the information I provide is only
relevant to this Elf, I can’t be held liable for any other Elves out there).
I’ve never been good at judging my own
character, so me trying to sum myself up in one sentence is tricky. So I did
what most people would do and asked a friend, this is what he said:

Now, I’m not going to say he’s
lying/telling the truth, because I’m not good at saying good things about me.
So here’s my version of who I am…
To put it briefly, I am a nervous, negative,
a doctor who loving, David Tennant adoring, shy mathematician.
There is obviously a lot more to me, but
these are the main things you should know about me. I will be posting a video
soon that will give you a LOT more information about me, but that phrase sums
me up in one sentence.
At the moment I’m not exactly sure what
type of videos I want to create. I know I definitely want to do reviews about
random products I’ve bought/used. However I will be trying to do different
things depending on what you want to see and what you enjoy watching. I also
have an idea of a ‘Top 10’ and ‘Sylvan’s Library’ series. The first is going to
be a Top 10 reason to watch a show/film etc. The other series would be books I have
read and I will give reviews on them. If you like either or these ideas please
leave me a comment. At the end of the day I want to please my readers/viewers.
This blog may end up reflecting some of
what appears in my videos, as on here I can go into a bit more detail and
depth, whereas on a video I can’t really talk for hours as none of you would
watch me ramble for that long!
I will try to put something up here once a
week, however this may end up changing if I get overly busy, if so I will try
to put something up at least once every two weeks or once a month. This is the
same with my YouTube videos, I will aim to put up a video once a week, most
likely on a Sunday but we’ll see.
Anyway this will be the end to this post because
otherwise I will talk for pages and pages and it may daunt you. So this is me
